The Farmhouse

Where do we begin with this? A referral turned into a seriously fun project and a client who trusted us wholeheartedly. He left us with his home for nearly 4 months, handed Victoria a key, traveled the world and said, “have fun.” And we did. One of the best parts of a project is learning about the client- how they live, what works, what they want to work better- and it’s our job to make every inch of a home make sense so it’s not just beautiful, but practical and livable.

This house has history- as a 1700’s farmhouse with all of the tales and stories that come with it, but as a family house with a lot of love and a ton of memories. We want to continue to tell the story of the house, honoring it’s past, but to make the house work for how It is being lived in today. A new kitchen, bath, an office and lots of paint to brighten the space worked really well with a new living layout.  Our second big reveal, and the video of that day truly says it all. Phase 2 includes new roof and siding, a new second story and talks of a wine cellar. Stay tuned.
